The next meeting of the TOSDV Board of Directors will be held on
Wednesday, MAY 7 2008 ,7:30pm at the COLONIAL THEATRE

The Theatre Organ Society of the Delaware Valley, Inc. has
announced a musical program, "A Musical Commemoration of a Life and
Progress". The program will be held Sunday, May 11, 2008, 5:00 PM, at the
COLONIAL THEATER on Bridge Street in Phoenixville, PA.
Using the Rodgers Trio instrument in temporary residence at the theater, the
program will consist of a Tribute to the late Harry Linn, Jr., long time
President and active member, without whom this organization would not have
survived and this project would have not been possible. There will be
a brief verbal report of the current progress on the Wurlitzer Theatre
Organ, which has been restored and awaiting installation, and the
presentation of the finished console residing in the theater lobby.
A demonstration of a theatre organ capabilities will be followed by a silent
movie short with organ accompaniment in a 1920's style.
Reception and refreshments will be included.
Admission will be by tax deductible contribution for which an acknowledgment
record can be provided.
