Lucente

Philly's renowned organist RUDOLPH A. LUCENTE brought his expertise to the Keswick's own historic theater pipe organ! Assistant organist for Wanamaker's (now Macy's) and holiday staff organist at Longwood Gardens, Lucente included hits from such Broadway shows as The Ziegfeld Follies, Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, and Fiddler on the Roof. An experience that literally can not be had anywhere else, Lucente filled this acoustically superb hall with the grand sounds of our stunning pipe organ, painstakingly restored to excellence over the past few years. Vocalist Amanda McDonald joined Mr. Lucente in a number of selections. She is a 2005 graduate of the Univ. of Delaware Dept. of Music, and is a "rising star" vocalist. In demand as a soloist by churches and performance venues in the Philadelphia area as well as other
cities, she is already considered a prodigious talent with a stellar career ahead
of her.
